HDPE geomembrane sheet suppliers in Ras Al Khaimah

HDPE geomembrane supply and installation in Ras Al Khaimah — quarry and washing-plant water management, industrial containment, aquaculture and agricultural storage, on ground that is usually rock.

Ras Al Khaimah is quarry and cement country, and that shapes the lining work. Washing-plant water recirculation basins, settlement ponds and process water storage are common, and they sit on subgrades of crushed rock and wadi gravel — the harshest surface a geomembrane can be asked to sit on.

Which leads to the single most important local point: on RAK subgrades, a cushion geotextile beneath the membrane is not an upgrade, it is part of the design. A 1.5 mm liner laid straight onto angular rock will develop pinholes under head, and it will do it slowly enough that nobody connects the leak to the day the liner went in.

Work we see most in Ras Al Khaimah

  • Quarry and washing-plant water basins — recirculation, settlement and process ponds, normally 1.5 mm over heavy cushion geotextile.
  • Industrial containment at Al Ghail, Al Hamra and the RAK industrial zones.
  • Aquaculture along the coastal strip.
  • Agricultural reservoirs in the Digdaga and inland farming areas.
  • Wadi and stormwater channel lining, where flow velocity decides whether the membrane needs hard protection over it.

What we supply and install in Ras Al Khaimah

The full range is available here: HDPE geomembrane liner sheet in every stock gauge, installation and welding with a trained welding crew, and the cushion geotextile that goes underneath. Whether you take sheet only or hand over the whole basin, the material and the QC procedure are the same.

If you are still deciding on a gauge, the thickness and roll size page sets out how thickness is chosen, and the price guide explains what drives a quotation up or down.

Ras Al Khaimah questions

Do I need geotextile on a rock subgrade?

Yes. On crushed rock or wadi gravel, a 400–500 g/m² nonwoven cushion layer between subgrade and membrane is what prevents slow puncture under head. It is a small fraction of the project cost and it is what makes the lining last.

Can you line settlement ponds at a working quarry?

Yes, staged around your operations. Basins are usually lined one at a time so water management continues. Tell us the sequence you need and we will plan panels around it.

How do you protect a liner in a wadi channel?

Above certain flow velocities an exposed membrane needs covering — concrete-filled geocell, concrete mattress, or rip-rap over a heavy protection geotextile. Which one depends on the design flow and on access for future maintenance.
