HDPE geomembrane liner sheet supply

Virgin-resin HDPE sheet from 0.5 mm to 3.0 mm in 7 metre rolls, smooth or textured, delivered anywhere in the Emirates with mill certificates against every batch.

Most of what we sell is straightforward: HDPE geomembrane liner sheet, on a pallet or a stillage, delivered to your site. What separates one supplier from another is not the description on the invoice but what is actually in the roll — the resin it was made from, the additive package protecting it, and whether the sheet measures its nominal thickness at the core.

What we stock

Smooth HDPE from 0.5 mm to 3.0 mm, single- and double-textured HDPE for slope work, and flexible LLDPE where the ground is likely to settle. Black is standard; white-surfaced sheet is available on order where surface temperature or glare on an exposed liner matters. Every gauge comes 7 m wide.

Alongside the sheet we hold the consumables that go with it: matched HDPE extrudate rod for extrusion welding, nonwoven cushion geotextile in 200–500 g/m², and drainage geocomposite. Ordering them together saves a site waiting on a second delivery to start work.

Specification and certification

HDPE geomembrane is specified against GRI-GM13, which fixes minimum values for the properties that actually predict service life: density, core thickness, carbon black content and its dispersion through the sheet, tensile strength and elongation at yield and at break, tear and puncture resistance, stress crack resistance, and oxidative induction time. LLDPE sheet is covered by the equivalent GRI-GM17.

Two of those matter more than buyers usually realise. Carbon black dispersion decides whether UV protection is even through the sheet or clumped in streaks — poorly dispersed carbon black gives you a liner that fails in patches. Oxidative induction time measures how much antioxidant is left to consume; it is the closest thing the industry has to a shelf-life number for a liner sitting in Gulf sun. Sheet supplied without a certificate reporting these is sheet you are buying on trust alone.

Ask for the mill test certificate before the rolls arrive, not after. A certificate produced after delivery is a certificate for a different batch more often than anyone admits.

Smooth or textured

Smooth sheet goes on basin floors and on slopes flatter than roughly 1V:3H. Once slopes steepen, or once soil cover has to stay put on top of the membrane, textured sheet earns its extra cost: the roughened surface raises the interface friction angle so the liner and anything on it stop creeping downslope. Single-textured sheet is used where only the upper or lower face needs grip; double-textured where the membrane sits between two soil layers, as in a landfill build-up.

Delivery, handling and storage

A full roll of 1.5 mm sheet weighs around a tonne, so plan lifting before delivery day. Rolls are handled with a stinger bar or slings through the core — never with forks under the sheet, which crushes the edge and creates a weld problem you will not see until the crew is on site.

On site, keep rolls on level ground, off sharp material, and out of standing water. Sheet stored in direct sun for months before installation begins its service life with some of its antioxidant already spent, so if the programme slips, cover the stack.

Supply-only or with a crew

Contractors with their own welding plant take the sheet and go. We can add a panel layout drawing and mark roll numbers against it so deployment does not turn into a puzzle. If you would rather hand the whole containment layer over, installation and welding is the other half of what we do — same sheet, welded and tested, with the QC file at the end.

Questions about this service

Do you sell single rolls or only bulk?

Single rolls are fine. Rates improve with volume, and part rolls carry a cutting charge, but there is no minimum order that stops a small job going ahead.

Is the sheet made from virgin resin?

The HDPE we supply as standard is virgin-resin sheet with a full carbon-black and antioxidant package, certified to GRI-GM13. Cheaper reprocessed sheet exists and we can quote it where a client specifically wants it for a short-life or covered application — but we will tell you what you are buying.

Can you cut sheet to a panel schedule?

Yes. Send the panel layout, or send the basin drawing and we will produce one. Rolls are then marked to match so the crew deploys in the right order.

How quickly can sheet be delivered?

Standard gauges held in stock generally move within a few working days anywhere in the UAE. Non-standard widths, colours or textures are made to order and need lead time — ask early if your programme is tight.

What thickness should I order?

It depends on liquid depth, whether the liner is exposed, and how rough the subgrade is. The thickness and roll size guide sets out the rules of thumb, and if you send the basin details we will specify it for you.

Ready to price the job?

Dimensions, depth and what the basin will hold — that is enough to start.
